The world is renewing every day and the ideas of today are forgotten tomorrow if it is not investigated and written down. Due to the growth in technology, we can’t fail to renew our ideas, and it’s the youth of today that has to design and build the technology of tomorrow so that we can advance. In this subject, we are going to stimulate your mind and give you the chance to maybe design the next great idea in the world.

Purpose of Technology Practical
Our purpose is to make students love this subject by exposing them to
tools, drawings and building of projects. It is important to establish, from
an early age, learners creative thoughts and to stimulate them by
introducing them to a variety of subjects through technology practical

Technology Gr 8 practical develops the following:

• Manual skills.
• Logical thinking
• Promotes entrepreneurship
• Provides new opportunities for learners
• Introduces learners to different subjects
• Offers the learner that is technically minded an opportunity to excel.
• Offers learners the opportunity to work with tools that they don’t have at home, or can afford.
• Safe use of tools and centres.
