In a nutshell

All assessments are online and in the form of multiple choice.
The Championship consists of two sections: An individual and a group section.

Individual section: It consists of 2 rounds for gr. 10 and 11s. Learners should achieve 80 % or more during the first round to qualify for the final round. There will be only one round for gr. 12s.

Group section: (Gr. 10 and 11 only) A group consists of 4 learners who will write two assessments.

The first assessment is an individual assessment written by each member of the group and the second assessment will be with a partner. Two learners will work together and complete a physics assessment while the other two work together to complete a chemistry assessment. Both the
individual round and the group round’s marks will count for the final mark.
